About the Book
The book tells the tale of a mischievous but lovable pet who leaves his owner with a “worried mind” when he makes off with a big locomotive. Originally a Jesse Fuller folk piece, “Monkey and the Engineer” was popularized by the GRATEFUL DEAD as a cover song recorded live on the LP “Reckoning” in 1980 and played on tour for over 20 years. Music fans will LOVE this book, which includes a biography on Jesse Fuller and original sheet music. |
